Driving

So friends, I'm noticing that I've got quite a bit of driving coming up in the next month. Like, just shy of 5,000 miles worth (destinations are approximate and unrepresentative, crazy stalker people!):

So, who's got some tips for enjoying long lonely drives? I'm no stranger to the open road myself, but I've covered most of this terrain before and I'm a bit worried boredom might get the best of me.

Well, we look to be about halfway between Jenny's and Madison, and always have food and drink for soldiers.

I'll give him directions, Melody, and recommend he go just a bit out of his way.

Actually, if he goes to MN from here, he won't have to go out of his way.

Actually, that's precisely the plan (heading to MN from IL), so I may just have to stop in for a visit! That is, after all, the whole point of driving hither and yon through the heartland.

Cool. I'll let Jenny give you my contact information. I don't need your stalkers transferring any interest to me!

If you want to keep your mind occupied, Issues, Etc. on iPod, plugged into the cassette player. :D My idea of drive time entertainment. Maybe some Whitehorse Inn as well.

And don't forget, you have a standing invite in the Chicago burbs, too, and if you stop at our place, you can meet The Other Evan.

And perhaps both of The Other Evan's girlfriends. :)
